Just wondering if anyone has received any Cold Weather Payments this season. That is £25.00 for the Temp being low for a week.

I checked on the DirectGov site and according to them for my Postcode I should have received one Payment of £25.00 but I have not received anything at all.

Saw the same information Kodiak re our postcode. We usually get the payment into the account on the benefit day following the frost triggering the weather station for seven consecutive days.

I just checked my wick postcode and it said that we are eligable for one cold weather payment.

That is correct. One payment due for Wick airport weather station. Kinbrace is governed by a weather station much further south where the cold weather payment has been triggered three times in as many weeks. Just another unfair lottery I suppose.

On a carers forum someone asked when the payments would be issued and they were told mid-late January as there was a huge backlog. Some areas are on their third and fourth payment as it has been so cold.
