I believe there's a shopkeeper in Halkirk that was asked for all his empty cardboard boxes and when the person went to collect them he was told they would cost him 10p each! No prizes for guessing the person's reply. You'd think he would be glad that someone would take them to save room in his bin, especially when they weren't being fussy about which ones they'd take. So much for recycling.
