Another moon shot

This was the moon tonight. I like it when you catch the colour.

This is with a Cannon A590 set to auto/macro/flash off. Hand held and offered up to an Opticron ES 80 spotting scope with the eye piece zoomed up to about 35x......all nice simple stuff:D

Not only does it sound simple, but it looks pretty effective.

Good photo Dafi - shows that decent results can be readily obtained with simple gear and minimal effort.

I can get them a little sharper yet but i think i have gone as far as i can with the gear i have. I would love to be able to get more detail of features tho!

From a purely personal point of view i think it is much easier to get detail of features if you convert to b&w which gives a much better contrast between light and dark.
There's plenty of detail in your image that could be enhanced without sharpening any more.
