i da even really lek cats much but im in need o' a wee pet or somethin til keep me company. somethin til call ma own. if i get a wee kitten am sure il fall in love...wi 'e cat i mean :lol:

am no in all day so i couldna hev a dowg, plus i cana stand dowgs jumpin up at me, an wantin petted 'e whole time.

no i think a wee caty will suit me fine.

i used til go wi a cheily that kept snakes an iguanas...an i hed ma very own chinese water dragon too!!

they ate mice an crickets an locusts an stuff an am no keepin 'at in ma hoose.

if all fails il get a budgie or somethin...a fish maybe...

Why not get a house bunny? I have a wee boy that lives in the house and he is litter trained. He has his own corner in a puppy play pen and gets out to run about at night. They make great pets and rabbits are very sociable. Or what about guinea pigs?

am no really an animaly person, though i widna see anyone hurtin an animal.
i think i need til find ma animal side, its choost burried deep inside me. but am a responsible, independent woman o' 'e 21st century...an til tell 'e truth am a bit scared o' animals.

somethin i need til overcome. in for a penny, in for a pound eh?

aw, i chinged ma mind auldtimer. i decided that i wisna mature enough til own a cat.

plus, am hardly ever in 'e hoose.

ma faither wis rite, he kens me so weel.
imagine hevin til come home early fie ma pals, where all 'e crack's happenin...choost til see a damn cat :roll:

am a bity scared o' cats too, wi' their sharp claws an' all their hissin. wreckin ma furniture, sctatchin at ma carpets, up early wantin fed :mad:

i da think cats really lek me either :(

Aww trix you would like my cat. She's a very well behaved cat and never claws anyone. She loves people, hates other cats and loves bugs and birds :) Never a bug issue in my house with Caramel around :lol:
I'm so lucky that she's such a easy going cat as i'm sure give my baby time she'll be getting picked on reguarly lol.
As for scratching of furniture and carpets it's all down to how you train them. We used a wee water pistol to get her out of the habit of attacking the carpets and going on the kitchen worktops and we didn't have a bother after a couple of weeks of using it. :)
