Hi, Im wondering could anybody recommend somebody to look at my laptop, Windows vista will not operate.....? Im lost without it.... Got a loan of one meantime x

if you keep hitting F8 key can you get into safemode?

if so run chkdsk

Windows vista will not operate.....?

Could you be more specific ? Does it switch on ? Do you get to the Vista Desktop ? Does it run for a couple of minutes then stop ? If all of these then its overheating perhaps......
