Toppled car Dunnet Castletown road

I just wanted to thank everyone who stopped to help when I off roaded my car this morning. So many people stopped it's lovely to see people are always willing to help.

Thanks especially to whoever climbed onto the car to open the door and let me out, you probably got your feet wet wading through the show!

I'm fine, little bit stiff. The car's probably written off but will wait and see. I'm just glad I was in the car on my own as any other Monday I would of been driving my son to playgroup so he'd of been in the car with me.

Pleased you are OK.
Must say the people of Caithness are wonderfully warm hearted.
Came off on the ice near Warth hill on Saturday morning and the people who stopped in the freezing cold and stayed with us were terrific as were the emergency services.
As you say the car does not matter especially if like us you are unharmed.

Good you're ok E, I came home that road at 25mph tonight ....could hardly believe it.....

I went from Groats to Wick to Thurso and backto Groats today and the roads were so variable....
