Caithness Astronomy Group has had a busy year celebrating the International Year of Astronomy and would like to thank:

it's sponsors the Royal Astronomical Society, Dounreay Communities Fund, Johnson Controls and the Scottish Government whose combined support made it all possible
the various organisations that allowed their venues to be used for public events (Thurso High School, Pennyland Primary School, Borgie Forest NSCFT, Wick Scouts, Castlehill Heritage Centre & Caithness Horizons) and the Northern Constabulary for securely storing the NASA Moon Rock & Natural History Museum Meteorite samples loaned to us from the Science and Technology Facilities Council
all those people that gave up their time freely and helped with the organising and activities at the events
….but most of all we would like to thank all those that took the trouble to come along to the many events held during 2009 – we hope you enjoyed them!
