Please please help, I have a relation married to a lovey French/Swiss lady and her name is spelt with an e which appears like this é, I am not being smart, I copied and pasted this e from a e-mail.

é = Alt+0233

Hold down Alt and enter 0233 on your number pad.

Word Office 2007 Go to insert and then along to the far right for symbols.
You'll find all you need in there from French accents,grafs,cidillas to German umlauts and Norwegian double aa. e.g.
å Ç è é ê ä ë đ etc.

There is also Character Map in Windows.

In Vista click Start and then type "character map" in the search box.

XP is Start> Accessories>System Tools>Character Map.

Quite a handy tool for finding all manner of letters n' stuff.
