Does anyone know if any of the buses which go to Inverness stop at Dingwall?

Thanks.

It looks as though the buses between Thurso and Inverness just don't stop at Dingwall...

So you could get a bus to Inverness, and another bus then to Dingwall (the buses to Dingwall should be reasonably frequent).

Or you could take the train straight to Dingwall.

No, they don't go to Dingwall. They cross the Cromarty Bridge just before they get there. I think you can get off just before the bridge and its not far from there, a few miles maybe. Wear sensible shoes or hitch it. Maybe there's a local bus. I don't know.

Get off bus at Alness / Invergordon then get a bus to Dingwall. Otherwise stay on to Inverness and get a bus back to Dingwall. Either way bus runs every hour during the day.
Don't walk from Cromarty Bridge!! Very silly suggestion!

I've just consulted a map and Kenimac1 is right. It looks to be about three or even four miles from the Bridge to Dingwall proper. I had thought it was only half an hour's walk.
