Does any one know of a site that is promoting the welfare of this species or where it is possible to lodge a protest ( other than The Japanese Embassy) about the fact that the presidency of The International Whaling Commission is about to be handed to The Japanese.
Double standards or what? They are 1 of the few remaining countries that still hunt whales.
What is the point of New Zealand and Australia doing excellent conservation work if the Japanese are allowed to take whales is the name of research?
When is a protected species not a protected species? Whenever a country puts it's own interests above those of the world.

Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society
If you go to this web site and go to the campaign section there are ready made up protest sheets to sign and e-mail.
It was well known that this situation was developing but the Japanese are hell bent on getting there own way on this issue. (money talks or should i say bribes)
They are hunting whales at a financial loss, they have more whale meat than they know what to do with.
And they wont listen to common sense.
I might add Norway and Iceland resume whaling shortly.

"Whale meat again, dont know where, dont know when":p
