So sad that the actress who plays Blanche, the mother of Deidre, has died. She was a great actress, with so many facial expressions, and the things she said!!! I will miss her.

i read that last night and i was gutted! She was a witty charachter in the show. She will be missed! :(

Blanche was my favourite character in Coronation Street and will be very sadly missed.

Audrey is Gails mum. Blanche is Deirdre's mum. ;)
