Yes its happened ...The Council are moving Caithness Heat and Power on to the next step .Will this mean that CHaP customers are being handed a 25 year sentence as they are handcuffed to a new private contractor .Its seems that the local community was not good enough to be given the chance to bid for the CHaP contract ,only those who are on the special "LIST" and have access to the www.tendersdirect.co.uk (http://www.tendersdirect.co.uk) wedsite were allowed to bid ...Well its to late now a deal is all but signed and sealed ...We'll just have to wait and see what our Masters at the Highland Council have decided ..
