Can anyone tell me anything about the former Caithness County Architect? Just interested.

Yes, he was my boss when I was an apprentice for Caithness County Council Architects. He retired about 1974 and moved south. He also did all the planning applications then. Unfortunately I only ever seen him once later in the late 70's and have never heard any more.

Mr Wilson also played the piano for the Wick Junior Choir.

He wrote a few plays, and entertained the Caithness folk with many well known monologues of the day. A great character, well loved in and around Wick.
