I didn't know what a rhea was either so googled it and it turns out be a big ostrich like bird.

So weird. I was looking on tinternet the other day as I was interested in keeping a couple of Rhea. Don't worry though I shan't nick this pair if I happen upon them at some point. :lol:

Seriously though, do you breed them? Know of anyone local who has them?

Sorry no word Evelyn but the one that was found at the harbour is slowly recovering as he was badly cut on his thighs and he was pretty tromatised for a couple of day"s,but we think he will recover. we have three chicks that hatched this year and as you can imagine they are now getting petted more than ever by K..........

So sorry that you haven't found the other Rhea.:( Where could a bird that size go?
