Hello again everyone,
Just a quick reminder that we are holding an opening meeting for the Caithness CLIC Sargent Fundraising Group tonight at 7pm in the Orange Room, Park Hotel, Thurso. EVERYONE WELCOME :D
We are basically looking to set up a group of people willing to give up some of their spare time and skills to help us hold fundraising events and raise awareness of this brilliant charity. You may remember the Zip Slide held at the riverside in Wick not so long ago - this was in add of CLIC Sargent and is the type of event we would like to hold again - along with the many other ideas we have!
Peter Logie, Community Fundraising Manager for the Highlands, Islands and Moray, will be giving a presentation on the fantastic work CLIC Sargent does and CLIC Sargent in the Highlands - A Childs Journey.
There will also be Scottish music very kindly provided by the Thurso High School and refreshments generously donated by the Co-op, Thurso.
So if you think you may be able to support us in any way, no matter how small, or you would just like to find out more about CLIC Sargent please come along.
