Stag on beach

My Dad saw a Red deer Stag on Thurso Beach yesterday morning. It was quite distressed and ended up swimming out into the bay. The vet was at the beach when this happened.

Did anyone hear anything as to what happened to the stag, or how it had go there in the first place?

PS this is not a wind up.

The stag ran up and down the beach several times and then swam across the mouth o fthe river and headed up towards Thurso East. It was unharmed and as fit as a fiddle

Thanks for that, I am delighted that the animal was not harmed. My Dad said it was a beautiful animal.

There is a lot of deer at thurso east i seen one at the river it ranback towards thurso east at least it was not harmed
