Van Hire

Who does van hire up here please?

Wanting something big enough to transport 2 matresses but willl need to hire over a few days as they have to be taken down to newcastle - grrrr

I rented a van from Richards garage in Thurso (about old Transit/LDV size). It was ok and not too expensive either. That was about 18 months ago: I don't know if they still do it though.

About £50/day from Richards (plus about £80 in fuel!!), Or there's http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/ if thy'll take something that big, or Colin Mackenzie may take down for cheaper than that - he goes down there fortnightly I believe.
