Or what has been the best thing that ever happened to you?

Mines has got to be my son being born and he makes me realize that my life would be incomplete without him.:Razz

Also my hubby when he,s in a good mood (im no saint i cant be happy with him all the time)lol

My dog shes always doing something daft.

Just a few of the things which make me happy are;

* watching my toddler daughter dancing around the room when she doesn't Know I'm watching - it's so cute and funny to see!

* drinking red wine from a plastic mug when I'm off camping for the weekend

* finding the time to put my feet up and enjoy a good book

Wasn't me folks :)

I was in the same boat myself yesterday, ended up spending the evening watching old Star Trek episodes. Needless to say the search for a new web host has started as the service we've been getting recently is basically rubbish.

Watching Star Trek, Niall, you should complain. I spent so long twiddling my thumbs that they have blisters so huge the doctor had to give me injections to ease the pain.
I was so desparate that I even had to resort to using emails so I could cause trouble.
The big problem with that is that you can only annoy one person at a time. :Razz
You've no idea how "cut off" some members felt. Some of us might have our little squabbles from time to time, but the Org being down just goes to show what a nice little community we have here and how much it's missed when we don't have it.

I always look on the Black Side of life. That way I'm never disappointed.

Other people's children make me happy. When you get fed-up with them you can give them back!

Well, coming on the big org, for one. And hooking into a 60lb plus conger eel; sitting under a tree on a beach on a Greek island with a litre of ice cold lager, a bowl of olives and feta cheese... watchin' the 'kinis. Loverly!:p

Hiya, Canuck. Ahh - you can tell, then. What makes you happy then? Being realistic, though - lots of things make us happy but mostly when the company is good.

Yes, just about anything where the company is good works for me.

Yesterday I enjoyed a picture perfect day at the SkyDome, with the roof open and a great ball game between the Jays and the Yankees.

Noo! Goodness, I haven't seen a Jays game for years. I thought the Skydome was lush! That would make me happy. :)

Not in any particular order of importance, here are some of the things that make me happy:

Listening to some of my favourite music.

Being in the company of good friends.

Watching a good movie or TV programme that totally engrosses me.

Listening to and watching my sons jamming together on their electric guitars, when they're really into the music, and don't realise I'm looking!

Listening to my sons play their own musical compositions, which tend to cross several genres - rock, blues, jazz, etc.

When someone else gives me a break from cooking dinner. One of the advantages of having a 21 year old son still living at home, is that he helps by cooking sometimes! :o)

Dining al fresco in our back garden on a mild night, under the moon and stars, with good wine and conversation flowing.

Finding that Caithness.org is back up, after it's been down for a while!

My daily visit to Caithness.org, which always makes me feel closer to home!

Visiting places of interest, especially if it's a place of natural beauty, historic, architectural, or artistic interest.

A lovely sunny Spring day, with all the flowers and tree blossoms in bloom.

Receiving e-mails from friends and relatives.

My husband, when he's in a good mood, and joking around with me.

Leaving for work, when my husband's in a really foul, grumpy mood, and I can't wait to get away!!

The service still seems pretty ropey, the problems seem to originate with dedipower though not architec.
