Goodnight sandy RIP

Well today was such a awful day, my lovely cat sandy was hit by a car and died, im just gutted as he was such a big softie, still cant believe it has happened and dont think i have cried so much since butch died nearly 4 years ago, some folk will think im pathetic, but animal lovers on here will understand how i feel. Just want to say thankyou to the lady who was unfortunate enogh to have hit him, she offered to take us to the vet, but sadly he passed away before this could happen also our neighbours who were kind enogh to come and get me, thankyou to you all.

RIP SANDY SUE, I will miss and love you forever, if you see butch in heavan stay with him, he will look after you.

I do feel for you. You are right, animal lovers like us do understand and there are also kind people out there, such as your neighbours and the poor unfortunate woman who did offer to take you to the vet.

Benny is feeling it he is just so sad looking, sandy had sort of become his dad when we got him, playing with him and cleaning him. little balto decided that it would be good for benny to say goodbye to sandy so she set him on top of sandy and poor benny tried to paw him to wake up, but think he understood that he was gone, cause he just lay on top of him then for ages, so sad to see

Aww poor wee Benny. He will be grieving as well. Little Balto is quite right in letting Benny see Sandy as he will know what has happened to him.
It must have broken your heart though to see him try to wake him up.:~(
The homeopathic remedy Ignatia is really good for grief both for yourself and Benny.

In time you will remember Sandy and smile instead of cry.

So sorry to hear about poor Sandy. My cat was hit by a car quite a few years ago, he was lucky and made a full recovery but I know how you feel as my cat was in such a state when it happened :( - I would have been gutted if I lost him. Not that he has learnt anything from this experience may I add. :roll:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of gorgeous sandy. Poor benny he will find his way again. my dad's cat after he died was so lost without him and we were so worried about her as she wouldn't eat.
The pain of losing a pet gets easier hun its just takes time.

Your posts are so sad that i could not help but cry too. RIP sandy after your tragic end :(
