Looking at buying a multifuel boiler stove for heating and hot water, up to 7 rads, to burn coal and wood to replace existing open fire which just isn't up to job.

Having difficulty deciding between options such as Hunter Herald 14, Villager AHI, Stratford Eco Boiler, Dunsley Highlander and Broseley Hercules etc etc.

Any advice/experience with the above would be appreciated on how good they are in terms of heat output, how well they bank down, would a thermostat be a good idea etc etc.

Had problems with previous recommendations from Bonk in Inverness.

Thanks!!
