Castletown Road Flooded

Just back from Thurso and that road was awful in places particularly between Castletown and Lyth, further on the water was flowing like a river out of the wee turn off down to Reiss beach.

Please drive with care if going that way tonight.

Yes the road wasnt good about 7ish my OH was telling me it was bad then rain rain go away come again somewhere else please

Road between JohnO'Groats and Wick was'nt great in places either. But what else can you expect when some brainbox deceided to fill in the ditches. The drains even if not blocked with dirt can't cope with the amount of rain.[disgust]
