He has decided not to appear at his trial and is asking for another 10 months to prepare his case, having already had a year. A reporter asked, quite reasonably I thought, why he had not been dragged from his cell. The answer - it would breach his human rights [disgust] .

Since when does a prisoner get the option to appear or not? Why does a UN Court have different rules from any other criminal court? All those important officials packing up for another day. What happens tomorrow if he still refuses? Has the world gone completely mad?

In a nut shell. Yes the world has gone completely mad.... It all started with Thatcherism and has gone down hill ever since..

The UN's never had any real teeth. RK knows they haven't got the guts to give him a hard time - so he'll play them to the bitter end.

The UN is nothing more than a talking shop for prevaricators, they could have the clout to solve a lot of issues around the world - but the political and fiscal will is not there to support any real progress.

He'll be tried in his absence and provided with court transcripts in his cell.
Apparently the whole 'circus' could take three years to find him guilty.
Hang him with the same noose they used on the other monster and post it again on youtube.
Before any fluffy bunnies jump in, yes he IS guilty!!
