I don't think there is an age restriction, but I wouldn't take too young a child. One of mine was about seven and screamed to be taken out. Having said that, I had to be escorted out of madam tousaud's (sp) chamber of horrors - what a baby eh?

Well its my OH's 7 and 5 year old that are going. They are not the "bravest" of kids really and thats why my OH wanted to know.

i wouldn't take my kids who are 7 and 5! i went when i was about 10 and i was terrified, my pal was shaking and had to leave early bawling the whole way home.

I would not recommend taking children at all, I went as a grown adult and was scared half to death

my son went for ther first time at about 5 i think , could have been 4 and was no problem he has gone every year since too and loves it , however his older sister was 7 and had to be let out of the fire exit the first year but begged to go back each year but shes much more frightened so i think it is totally down to the kid in question .

I am not sure if I am taking mine this year was too traumatic last year Brandy, scary the b- jesus outta DT and must admit I nearly needed tena lady myself, I hate things jumping out at me in the dark even when I know that's what I paid for! Might just trick or treat and have the Pony Club gymkhana to go to so think that will do for Hallowe'en this year

I haven't been to the Haunted House in Thurso since it was run by the round table in what is now Caithness Home Furnishing, just after Dunnets moved out, and they used the old cottages opposite Dunnets for the rooms. I was a teenager at the time so it wasn't yesterday! (1993?)

Was thinking of taking the wife along to see of I could shock her into labout, but I don't think she's see the funny side.
