Jobs?

I have been trying so hard to get a job in Thurso over the past couple of months and it has been prooving to be a wee bit hard. Where are the jobs in thurso? :confused:
I have been doing shop, retail work and waitressing, cleaning, housekeeping and bar work for years and these are the type of jobs i would do. But trying to get one at the moment is like trying to find a pot of gold. I have made a c.v with all my qualifications and i have good references. Where are the jobs hiding? :(

I would say, take any job you can get. It's always easier to find another job if you already have one..

I`ve been trying for over 1 year to find a job in Thurso/Wick to no avail...it`s not easy seems it`s not what you know but who you know...the job center website is useful as are the caithness.org job forums....

Have you tried any of the new stores in wick?

I did try Homebase back in December when they had an open day but never got any reply from them...I may try them again in the coming months as no doubt they will have in store adverts looking for staff...

Yea i did get through the interview at bt passed all the computer tests i even had to go in and listen to the calls but they called me on monday as said that they will not be placing me on this order for work. Its quite hard to get in there now.
