Ah maun .......... am I frustrated ! I damaged my Logitech wireless mouse and decided I'd go and purchase a new one. One of the requirements in the installation of the new mouse is I first uninstall any software from the previous one. I open up control pannel and after unending searches I can see no record of the former software. Then I find out if its not a certain software it might not be listed here and I'm advised to read the pamplet that came with the origional mouse for a solution, but there is no mention of uninstalling there !!!! Please someone can you suggest how I might remove the offending software so as I can install my new mouse !!

Get a Mac and then you wont have to worry about it ;)

But seriously... Go to Add/remove hardware and delete it from there. If that is what you have done and it isn't there it suggests that was the problem with you original mouse...

Edit - I'm glad I don't have to do all this "drivers" thing anymore - my mac just works :)

download and run ccleaner
under tools will be a list of all the stuff loaded
trackdown the offending prog and hit uninstall.
