Problem with SKY +

Is anyone else having trouble just now with their SKY+?

When I switch on ours it tells me that there's a technical fault - this comes up on every channel I try when SKY+ is on !!

I can view "normal" TV when the box is off, but nothing at all otherwise, it won't even tape programmes that have been pre-recorded :(!!

Can anyone offer advice please? (I live near Wick)

U need to switch of the power to ur sky+ box for about 10 minutes then when u put it back on it should be ok but u have to wait after u turn it back on so it can reset its self.

The above advice is spot on :D Ours needs resetting now and then.

Yeah I get this problem often with a normal skybox, as the above posters said unplugging it and plugging it back in keeps it happy for a while.

IT WORKED !!!! It's never happened before and as I'm a total technophobe I had no idea what to do !!!!
