no stv for xfactor

all we got was no sat signal ok before xfactor and ok after...whats going on:confused

well it hasent happened before...i thought they had gone on strike or something..was weird....it only affected xfactor.....I even had a go at OH thinking it was him at it ...but he wanted to see the results as much as me...gremlins at it again...me thinks

Obviously you are watching it through Sky... If you have Sky+ then you might have been recording another channel and your signal was used for the recording. Your other signal from the LNB might be faulty... If its a Sky Digibox then it could be just the rain etc that can cause it considered we have had strong winds.

Or maybe just plain bad luck lol

If you are on SKY then just go to Channel 993 for ITV London. !!!:D

I noticed that too, I couldn't get any other channel either apart from Ch4, I did a sky+ planner rebuild and the pic came back right away

To reset...
Select 'services'
'System setup'
press 0, 1, select which takes you to 'installer setup' screen
then select 'sky+ planner rebuild'
n.b. all recordings will be stopped so best to do this when not recording anything
