I am trying to obtain a copy of the knitting pattern that our school teacher gave us for knitting gollywogs as I wanted to knit some toys and thought that I would use this pattern.

HI CATHERINE, I REMEMBER KNITTING THE GOLLYWOG BUT DONT HAVE IT ANY MORE. I DO HAVE.....WAIT FOR IT ....THE KNITTED PENGUIN WITH THE FELT TUMMY !!!!! but alas no pattern sorry

Oh well Lesley, thanks for looking anyway.

We will have to keep searching.......................I remember the penguin too.

Can you remember who taught us the knitting, I can't really think who it was.

Remember making the aprons in gingum checks, mines was red and white checks and I had a turnip sewn on my pocket..............those were the good old days.
