View Full Version : Inspiron 1525 cmos battery problems

My Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop clock wont keep time. Its also dramatically slowed down on boot up. After a bit of research it seems the CMOS battery needs replaced. I thought this would be simple but it seems like you have to dismantle most of the laptop to get to the battery.

There are detailed instructions so i was planning guddling in about myself BUT I have changed my mind, it looks way too complicated.

Does anyone know anyone who might be able to do this for me quickly at a resonable cost?

PM me with any details!
Thanks in advance
