Lidl have an item called a USB Video Grabber on sale tomorrow at £16-99.

With this bit of kit you can Digitise your analougue and audio to your PC and it comes with all the kit you need and video editing software.

Thanks Kevin - surprising what the .org comes up with.I just might try the LIDL one. I spent about £60 on some kit a few years ago to transfer video to DVD. The result are not very impressive and I am a bit doubtful about sending my tapes off to the unknown.
