Cat killed at Westfield

I am sorry to let readers know that my young Maine Coon cat was found dead on the road this morning. I know that accidents happen and that cats will inevitably cross roads but why doesn`t the person responsible stop and lift the poor creature to the side of the road? I do know that if I was ever unfortunate enough to kill someone`s cat regardless if it was wearing a collar or not I would lift it to the side or do my utmost to find the owner.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your cat in such an awful way.

As you say, accidents do happen but it would have been so much more humane if the driver had stopped.
