This year I managed to build a polytunnel and get some plants into it. The tomatoes have developed yellow and black spots on the leves which then turn brown and die. Some of the tomatoes have black patches, though the rest are fine and they taste lovely!
The tomatoes are a variety of types and all are suffering from the same ailment but in differing degrees.
Last year my tatties suffered from blight and this looks very much the same. [This year no tattie blight as I used blight-resistant types]
So - simple question - does anyone know if tomatoes suffer from blight and is this likely in Caithness? If so, how can it be prevented next year.
Many thanks
