The newest arrivals on the farm. Ocean the mare was bought for my daughter to ride, and she came with her baby Buster. He must be the cheekiest, most curious foal i have met but considering he had never been handled b4 he came he is very friendly and workable. Above he is saying hi to my 5yr old son whom he adores and follows about.

Thanks froal!!
Yeah he's a section A. My son is Autistic which makes him quite loud and brash, so i'm suprised the foal has taken to him quite the way he has.
Just the 2 silkies we got so far, but plannin on hatchin out some eggs and prob buy in another cock.
I love NF ponies,I've not seen that many up this way!!. Some Native enthusiasts say NF ponies are the ugly cousins of the Connemara, but i truly disagree with this comment!!
I hated having to wait until the foal i bought last year was weaned! time just seemed to drag, and i was desperate to get him home. Must see pics when u get them home!!

*Plannin more pics on but prob do it wi the digi this time, as the mobile is not great!!*

There are definately two registered new forests up here. Willoway Chatterbox very dark gelding and Howen Confusion (spelling?) a beautiful chestnut mare. Don't know if there are any more? I hadn't heard that about them either. I learned to ride on new forests at Lomondside Stud (a very long time ago, before they moved to Drymen!). They breed them and had quite a few in the riding school, oh happy days! :o)

The comment bout the NF & connies was made on a Native horse discussion forum. They were on bout how judges show more preference to the connies, and the discussion got out o hand!! U know how it goes on these forums!!
I seen Willoway he's adorable!
