Just bought some toy pmr446 radios from Hong Kong for the kids and playing about with the radio they were picking up military chatter, I thought nothing of it at first but then heard a message like this. delta xray 217 calling RAF Kinloss, RAF Kinloss reading you over, This is delta xray 217 nusense chatter on my frequency over, RAF Kinloss calling delta xray 217 nuisance chatter located near Halkirk relaying GPS conduits of nuisance chatter to Northern constabulary over, roger delta xray 217 understood over and out. After all this I was worried that I was going to get a knock at the door but nothing has come of it yet, was it someone messing about or cheap chinese pmr446 radios on a totally different band width to UHF pmr 446 radios?.
