No connection to the event, just very happy to have got a workshop place because I love the Rebus books!

This looks very interesting and I have now printed off the full document so I can read it all.

It would be worth the ten quid just to get to meet him and go for a pint after. But here's a question - what pub? Does Inversnecky have anything to match the Ox?

The Oxford Bar in Edinburgh is absolutely unique, George. There is nothing to match it anywhere else in the world, never mind I`ness.

Oh I know - I went to Uni in Edinburgh and lived in the city and outlying towns for several years after. The place has so many great pubs, the thing I miss most living in the USA (besides assorted family & friends of course).
