Not quite in full flood as a few years ago but close.

I thought about coming through to wick as i guessed the river would have burst its banks in places, but i never got round to it .... great shots both :D

I find these photos fascinating! I grew up in Thurso, and never in my 20 years there do I remember seeing any of the Caithness rivers in spate like this. Seems like it's a more recent trend!

I saw the river where Bluebell's photos were taken as go there every day with our dog to see the train. It's the dog who's the train spotter!:lol:

I don't remember seeing it flooded this badly although someone said the last time it happened was 2006 and it was even worse?

Great photos from everyone on this and the Thurso thread. Is global warming causing this too frequent flooding? Kinda scarey to be in the water's path.
