My mum showed me how to knit when I was about 17 or 18 and I remember knitting a jumper at university. Don't make the same mistake I did though - make sure you know if the measurements on the pattern are in inches or centimetres - I carried on knitting until the jumper was nearly down to my knees before I realised my mistake :lol:

Good for you Sharona!

I find knitting can be so relaxing, but must admit i do have to be in the mood to do it.
