Anyone sen one lately..........not seen one for years.

Yes had one last week. I bought Eggs from the Wet Fish Shop in Thurso, the Extra Large Egges.

They were Fresh and Beautiful and one of them was a Double Yolker. This is not the first time either as have this happen quite a few times over the past few months.

Over here, you can find a box of double yolkers in most supermarkets along with the other selections of white or brown shells, various sizes, some enriched with something or another. You'll pay most for the double yolkers.

I buy eggs from Mrs Armitage and they regularly have double yolks in the extra large size. Also had double yolkers from Bill Gunn at Hoy about three weeks ago.

Had lots of double yolkers!
From proper farm chickens.
They confuse me a bit when baking though.... are they classed as 1 egg or 2 when baking:lol:
