On Saturday I purchased a pint of lager for the princely sum of 3.45!!!
Is this the dearest pint in caithness?
Managed to get tennents for 3.10 BIG SAVING!!!! lol [lol]

Surely you got a pie with your pint at those prices? A steak Pie? ;)

As for dear pints, I was in Menzies hotel in Dyce last week & paid £3.60 for a bottle of Budweiser:eek: , I didnt stay long.

I had a pint of the Abbot in Wotherspoons in Wick for £1.75 a few weeks ago...it's a £1 dearer down here...

IPA in Wetherspooons I think is £1-29, and a good pint of beer it is.:Razz Not sure about the pies though.:confused

Was that the real Budweiser from the Czech Republic or the nasty American one? You could get a six-pack of the latter for that at my local supermarket, though I don't know why anyone does.
