I am trying to find the last resting place of
MR,ALEXANDER LEASK DOULL,who worked on the groat newspaper as a
compositor in the 1930 period. He may have been killed in the second world war.I WAS BORN WITH THE SAME NAME IN 1936

Hi
Maybe if you post your request in the genealogy forum you could get a wee bit more help.
Best of luck.:D

I have checked on the Wargraves site and he does not appear to have been killed in the 2nd WW
Good luck with your search.

I had a wee look on the ScotlandsPeople site and the only person of this name I could find among the deaths was:

Alexander Leask Doull, died Nairn, 1996, at the ripe old age of 86 (so, born about 1910). Would this fit his date of birth? He may have lived much longer than you thought!

Of course this only lists deaths in Scotland, so if your man had died overseas, or indeed elsewhere in the UK, he wouldn't appear in the Scottish records.
