Pinching OH's spot for a minute and this is probably the wrong place but I am sure I will be redirected if need be. Can anyone tell me what the very bright object in the sky is at the moment. I saw it at 0300hrs this morning ( don't ask) in the east and quite low in the sky. Was tempted to get the old binos out but a warm bed was more welcoming.

Is it worth a look at through binoculars?

No, not really. It just appears as a disc, as the thick atmosphere reflects the sunlight, obliterating any surface features.
