If i were you i would write to EWM and complain.
Especially when its a tourist destination and this company are picking the eyes out of them, where is the "Scottish welcome" that we are famous for? when companies are trying to rob punters blind.Thought Dick Turnip was dead but obviously his decendants are well and truly alive in Caithness!!!

I remember visiting there and there "Special" of the day was Hotdogs!!! Very scottish-alot of effort went into opening a tin and heating them in a little water. And just for the record it was the worst Hotdog i have ever had in my life, not one of the 5 of us finished it as it was Choch!!!!
Its a sad state of affairs that a famous scottish place cant serve scottish fayre![evil]

Dunno about the rest of the menu, but the soup they serve is all made on the premises and absolutely fantastic. Had loads of it when working on the boat up there.

Prices seem fine to me.

I'll have a look in a few places around Wick if I think on and see what the prices are like there. I'll bet there's not much difference.

I recently got a pie which was going for £3.14 - does that mean I win "most expensive pie of the year"?

Iwas out at the ewm yesterday with a pal yesterday and we had the baked tatties with cheese and i have to say it was really tasty and prices ain't bad either. While of on holiday this year we went to scone palace ,well let me say it was really overpriced for 2 cheese and ham sandwiches,1 vanilla slice and 2 cups of tea it was £15.90 nearly died on the spot and we had alreay paid £20.00 to get into see the palace, when i think all we paid for a tour of celtic park was £17.00 for 2 now that really was BRILL
