My son got a new laptop for his birthday, he's only had it about 2 weeks !!
When he powers it up, a black screen appears and on bottom left hand corner
Press the ESC key for startup menu, when you press Esc key it says ESC...Pause Startup
Have emailed PC World support team tonight, so waiting to see what they have to say.
Anybody got any thoughts ??

just hit the enter key
for some reason its been told to stop start up [bios has been played with?]
[typically the pause/esc key] just check its not got anything underneath

whats the lappy?

Just to let everyone know, have spoken to PC World helpline, and was told to take the laptop back to the store we bought it from, for a replacement!!
