Dont know if its still there or not but we used to stay at the Ashgrove Guest House which is not far from the hospital. The red cross hostel is quite good too.

We stayed in Red Cross last year it is all done up,its really nice and friendly,and very secure if you are by yourself.They run a mini bus to hospital as well, a taxi cost about £5 but you will always get someone to share.You get use of the kitchen,sitting room and laundry,as well as having ensuite bedroom and a t.v in your room.The tel.no.is 01224592226.
