Who cares about the Ashes, the real headlines are in the frozen chip business. Get yer mince pies around this whopper I found in a bag of McCain's Rustic oven chips recently. Purchased in The Coop Wick, I think that clears this item as Caithness related. With a £1 coin in the photo for scale and a smaller chip from the same bag, I think this holds two world records on a) Biggest ever frozen chip and b) Poorest size consistency ever

I welcome all comments, and evidence of a bigger chip.

The Sun already said:-

"Phew Scorrie, what a whopper"

The Star commented:-

"Chipmungous Mate"

The Daily Record exclusively announced:-

"Is that a Chip or a Claymore? - Scorrie opens his heart to The Record"

The Daily Telegraph went with:-

"We believe this chip may be larger than average size"

I would have to think very seriously about fitting such a monster into a chip butty - as per scouse tradition.
Mouth watering - thanks

Scorrie, that is so obviously a HOAX!!

I mean, that's all out of proportion - are you sure that's not been photoshopped? And that's not a £1 coin at all, it's an old sixpence!

Hah, you'll have to be sharper to get one over me, matey. [lol]

(Seriously man, gie's ma chip back, I'm all lop-sided now...)

Typical of you, Metalattakk...

Someone posts a genuine picture of an unusual (some would say un-natural and fearsome) chip and all you can do is scoff (pun intended) at the poster.

I'll have you know that people are coming up from Engerlund who have knowledge of these matters. Traps will be set and feathers will be ruffled....
This is not the first time that monstrous chips have been spotted in the County, o incredulous one.;)

Ignore this man, he is my Sister. What I mean is he is married to my Brother, or is that Sister, I forget which it is. Anyway, my Brother will be joining this site under the name Scarfie to make sure you know I am not making this up. That chip took three hours to cook and anyone can see that the Queen's face is not glamorous enough for the coin to be a sixpence, as this is clearly the much newer "Bag of spanners" profile, indicating a modern coin.

Look elsewhere for Fish Mr Metal Mickey, chips only in my oven!!

Reading this thread reminded me of a very funny clip that a fellow orger emailed to me.

I think that if she had Scorries chip the plate would not have needed to be pulled forward to find it.
