Has anyone had any experience of these systems for generating electricity, I have done some research on google but the costs seem high, is it too soon to venture into them or wait till the price comes down. Any input would be appreciated. :)

I've been waiting for 10 years for the prices to come down. I don't think they will. Technology might get better but they won't be as cheap as chips for a long while.
You'd be better off with a wind turbine in Caithness (if that's where you are) or a mixture of both.
