Pop ups - of sorts!

Why am I suddenly getting loads of Bingo and Insurance etc sites appear on my bottom taskbar whenever I'm on the net?
I have a pop up blocker enabled but after just a few minutes online the bottom of my puter is full of them.

It's spyware / adware / malware. You need to run a full virus and spyware scan using a few different utilities. I'd run Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/) and VIPRE Rescue (http://live.sunbeltsoftware.com/). There is also the online scanner from ESET (http://www.eset.co.uk/ThreatCenter/OnlineScanner). That all depends on what you are running just now though.
