I have some friends who want to tour the Highlands and have booked some places to stay already. Can anyone recommend comfortable, reasonably priced B&B's or hotels to stay in Golspie, Invergarry, Plockton, Dornie and Pitlochry?

When? How about self catering and how many friends are there?

They will be touring from August 23rd through September 5th. 3 adults and self-catering would probably be their last choice. They want to stay in each place for a few days and day trip it rather than pack up and move every day.
