My wife and children went to Stromness yesterday for day trip.
They had a great time.
They had a fantastic meal in the restuarant on the trip home, said the service etc was good.
The food was a reasonable price as well.
The only thing is the price for a return ticket for an adult~£33.
I wrote to Northlink a few years ago suggesting a day return ticket for trippers, which they declined.
I know Calmac used to do a similar day ticket where the price was around 1/2.
A family of 4 (BUT Child under 5 free) would cost around £100 for the day, which is far too much.
Maybe Northlink might have a rethink if public opinion can sway them.
