I'm sorry, in my opinion, this can only be classed as racism. And before you start - I am not from Thurso.

Nor am I from Wick.

At any rate, in the dark - with the lights on... it doesn't look too bad.

Better than last year's Christmas tree - a giant twig...
It only had something like 7 branches on it.

I know, I'm just tired of hearing nasty things said about each town, I suppose. Now Castletown... lol...

I'm as guilty as anyone. I mean, the other day someone asked me if I grew up in Castletown 'cause when we first met, that's where I lived (and I hated it). I was quick to correct him!

But seriously - the tree is better than last years - it has to be said!

ooh the banter ;)

I think it looks ok to be honest and the blue lights look different..

I'm from Thurso and wot the hell u all on about? Wots this Toilet brush thingy, is it a brush shaped as a toilet?

I hate to disagree with you all but I think Thurso's Christmas Tree looks pretty good this year and the blue lights make a big impact on the square. On the whole I think Thurso has made quite an effort this year and I think credit should be given where due. Well done.

I think Christmas Trees are meant o be viewed at night and the lights etc with the blue lighting on the trees is certainly different and the committee are to be congratulated on making new innovations. they stand out well as can be seen in this picture http://www.caithness.org/christmas2003/photogallery/photos.htm?19?1

Bill
I agree with you, the blue lights are different and the tree is not as bad as some have made out

Yeah, I think the blue lights are impressive.

I also like the lights over Traill Street. They're really pretty.

Some of us may be divided in our opinions - let's not let it spoil the celebrations, huh? :D
(An' you're gonna have tae enlighten me as to what a toilet brush is... [lol] )
